Cryptocurrency Price Today, Bitcoin Rises Above $28,300
On Monday, the cryptocurrency markets saw an increase in trading. Bitcoin (BTC) went up 1.37% to $28,300, while Ethereum (ETH) rose above $1,850. In the last 24 hours, BTC volume reached around $12.43 billion, increasing by 30.14%.
The weekend saw most cryptocurrencies rising in response to the non-farm payrolls report that indicated the addition of 236,000 jobs to the U.S. economy last month. Mudrex’s CEO, Edul Patel, noted that BTC’s support is now at $27,900, with resistance at $29,200, while Ethereum aims for the $1,900 level.
The global cryptocurrency market cap was trading higher around $1.18 trillion, with other top crypto tokens also trading higher. Bitcoin’s market cap was approximately $547 billion, and its dominance was 46.17%.

Sathvik Vishwanath, CEO of Unocoin, suggested that if BTC breaks through its resistance level, a significant price increase might occur, potentially reaching $28,900 or even $29,250.
